West Fire Appraisal and Professional Services, Inc. is a full service company specializing in insurance appraisals and expert witness testimony.
Owners Mark J. West and Randall W. Taylor have over 35 years of collective experience in both residential and commercial construction, property and casualty insurance claims adjusting, insurance appraisals and expert witness testimony. Mark J. West owns and operates West Fire Construction and Restoration, an established company for 20 years.

As an experienced contractor, Mr. West has represented countless insurance companies and homeowners in insurance appraisals and is considered by many to be one of the pioneers in handling the insurance appraisal process. Mr. West is an experienced witness with countless hours of deposition and trial testimony. He has assisted with the preparation of questions for opposing experts. Based upon his extensive knowledge of construction, coupled with his years as an investigator for the Houston Police Department, Mr. West is well qualified to assist with multiple aspects of file and witness preparation.
Randall W. Taylor is an experienced insurance adjuster, as well as a general contractor. Mr. Taylor worked for a major property and casualty insurance carrier for many years as both an adjuster and claims manager. Mr. Taylor owned and operated Southwestern Remediation, and is currently General Manager of West Fire Construction and Restoration. He has both deposition and trial testimony experience and, as an SIU claims adjuster and claims manager, understands the process and importance of preparing for litigation.We are confident West Fire Appraisal and Professional Services, Inc can be of value to you and your clients.
