Rule #1: Get out and stay out, then call 9-1-1. Stay on the phone with the operator until the fire department shows up.
Rule #2 : Check that everyone is out of the house. NEVER go back into a burning home! If there is someone missing tell the operator.
Rule #3: Stay Calm because when the firefighters arrive they will ask you questions like, "Is someone still in the home?" and you want to be able to answer them as quickly and precisely as possible.
